| Mr. John “Hammer” Charles Bartlett, 54, of 867 E. Zion Church Rd., Shelby, NC, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010. Services were held at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Christian Freedom Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Bartlett is survived by his loving wife of 4 weeks, Melissa Williams Bartlett of the home; 2 daughters, Jillian Bartlett of Gastonia, and Saige Cook of the home; 1 step-daughter, Lane Tesseneer of Florida; 1 sister, Jennifer Morehead of Florida; his mother-in-law, Sybil Kincaid of Shelby; and 1 brother-in-law, Mark Williams and wife Emily of Ellenboro.
