Mr. John Henry Carroll, age 70, passed away on August 1, 2014 at Peak Resources of Shelby. Mr. Carroll was born on January 23, 1944 in Rutherford County, enjoyed shooting pool and playing cards. He is predeceased by his parents, Burke and Pearl Brown Carroll.
He is survived by several cousins, Minor Lee Melton, Billy Gene Melton, Johnnie Lee Cogdell, Buddy Davis, Wanda Cogdell, Vanessa Melton, Frankie Melton, Junior Cogdell, Stevie Cogdell, Vern Cogdell, Wayne Cogdell, Donnie Cogdell and a special cousin, Brian O'Neal Melton who made sure that Henry was taken very good care of.
A Graveside service will be held on Friday, August 08, 2014 at 4:00 P.M. at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC with the Rev. Junior Melton and Rev. David Bridges officiating.
