John Pinkney Proctor, 77, of Lawndale, passed away Tuesday October 2, 2018
at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center.

Born August 23, 1941 in Cleveland County, he was a son of Ethel Mae Martin
Proctor of Fallston and the late James "Jim" Willard Proctor. He was a
retired plumber and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Shelby.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a half-brother,
Melvin Douglas Martin.

In addition to his mother, Ethel, he is survived by two brothers, James Earl
Proctor of Fallston and Larry Eugene Proctor of Shelby and three sisters,
Mildred Louise McNeely of Shelby; Tammy Proctor Harris of Shelby and Doris
Elaine McMillan of Gaffney and two grandchildren.

Services are private.
