Shelby – John Stanley Grayson, 64 of 3609 George Beam Road, passed away February 14, 2013 at his residence.
Born January 1, 1949 in Cleveland County he was a son of the late Arlon John Grayson and Marlan Beam Grayson Cone. He was a member of Big Springs Baptist Church. Stanley served in the US Army during Vietnam and was stationed in Korea and Germany.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara G. Moses.
Survivors include his nephew, Karl Moses and wife, Tamara of Shelby; niece, Karen Hodges and husband, Lee of Ruffin, NC; great-niece, Savannah Hodges and brother-in-law, Herchell Moses of Morganton.
Visitation: 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston.
