Johnny Odus Scism, 69, of Fallston Road, Shelby, passed away Monday,
November 30, 2015 at Hospice at Wendover in Shelby.

He was born on August 17, 1946, in Cleveland County, to the late Forrest
Everett Scism and Beatrice Chapman Scism. He was retired from
Bradington-Young.

He is survied by his wife Gay Whitaker Scism; son, John Scism and wife Lori
of Kings Mountain; daughter, Beth McCoy and husband Thomas of Shelby; and
six grandchildren, Jennifer Scism Price, Jordan McCoy, Meleah McCoy, Colton
McCoy, Clare Patty, and Bella McCoy.

A private graveside was held at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
