Born in Roswell, NM, Mr. Scott was the son of the late Johnny Paul Scott St. and Gail Lee Cornmesser Shipman of Albuquerque, NM.  Mr. Scott worked as a cook and was of the Methodist faith.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Scott is survived by a sister, Crystal Finch, of Farmington, NM, and his step-father, David Shipman, of Albuquerque, NM.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 2, 2011, from 1:00 until 4:00 PM at the residence.
