Blacksburg -- Johnny Robert Horne, 72, of 200 Fridy Street Apt 3-4, passed away Friday, October 16th, 2015, at his residence.

Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Doris Cavney Horne and the son of the late Cecil Horne and Alda Denise Jones Horne. Mr. Horne retired from the maintenance department for the Town of Blacksburg.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Horne is survived by two sons, Larry Wayne Horne and Bobby Joe Horne, both of Blacksburg; three brothers, James Lewis "Dick" Horne and Kenneth "Ray" Horne, both of Blacksburg, and Billy "Gene" Horne and wife, Betty, of Grover; six grandchildren, Devin Horne and Destiney Pope of Blacksburg, Malachi Horne of Ellenboro, NC, Jordan Horne of Blacksburg, Elizabeth Horne of Blacksburg, and Matthew Horne of Gaffney; and two special friends, Tiffany Vandergriff and Michelle Ellis.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, October 22nd, 2015 at 4:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary Chapel 400 West Cherokee Street Blacksburg, SC 29702 with Rev. Danny Marshburn, Rev. Lucky Earls, and Rev. Gregg Martin officiating.
