Joseph Bailey Anthony

June 22, 1931 - April 2, 2025


Joe entered his eternal home on April 2, 2025. He is the son of the late Jake and Alice Bell Anthony and brother of the late Martha Anthony Allen.

The Joy of the Lord has sustained Joe throughout his life and his beloved family was his anchor. Joe is survived by his wife of sixty-seven years Emma Jones Anthony, his daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Keith Mason, grandsons Max and Cal Mason, niece Cynthia Allen Whisnant, nephew Thad Allen and a host of extended family who will cherish Joe's memory and the love and good times shared at frequent family gatherings.

The family is forever grateful for Dr. Renee Melton-Smith and for the Christlike employees of VIA Hospice whose loving care made it possible for Joe to be cared for at home.
