Joseph Warren Best, 75, passed away at his residence on Thursday, January 1st, 2026.

Born in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Joe Best and Louise Moore Best. He formerly worked as a technician at Hoechst-Celanese.

Mr. Best is survived by his son, Jason Best (Molly) of Gaffney; his sister, Sheena Painter, of Mooresville, NC; two grandchildren, Blake Best (Makayla) and Jacob Best (Kendra); and two great-grandchildren, Lennox and Mayberry Best.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 12th, 2026, from 12:30 - 1:30pm at Gordon Mortuary. Graveside services will follow at 2:00pm in Clingman Memorial Gardens.
