Joyce Ann Gray Cooper, 73, of 534 East Junior High Road, passed away Friday, November 17th, 2017, at her home.

Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of Jerry A. Cooper and the daughter of the late Claude Gray and Beatrice Hardin Gray. Mrs. Cooper retired from textiles and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Cooper is survived by one son, David Cooper and wife, Tammy, of Blacksburg; one daughter, Janet Cooper; one sister, Linda Moore and husband, Dennis, of Gaffney; two grandsons, Michael Cooper and Josh Cooper; and two great-grandsons, Kason Cooper and Brandon Godwin.

She was preceded in death by her parents,Claude and Beatrice Gray, one brother, Jackie Gray and one sister, Shirley Allison.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 19th, 2017, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 20th, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 509 Cherokee Falls Road, Blacksburg, SC 29702 with Rev. Richard Brown and Rev. Norman Philbeck officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Chris Borders, Bobby Bolick, Charlie Varner, Michael Cooper, Michael Borders, and Josh Cooper will serve as pallbearers.

The family will be at the residence of her son, David Cooper at 122 Brown Street, Blacksburg, SC 29702.
