Joyce Elizabeth Dover Hilton, 82, of Shelby, passed away Tuesday, July 28,
2015 at Hospice at Wendover.

A native of Cleveland County, she graduated from Fallston High School and
Gardner Webb College. She retired from the Forecasting Department of
Southern Bell Telephone Company with thirty years of service. She was a
faithful member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

Joyce was a member of Dover Baptist Church. She enjoyed craft work,
reading, making ceramic dolls, trying new recipes and making soap.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Grace Dover.

She is survived by her loving husband of thirty seven years, Bob Hilton;
sister, Margaret Willis; brother Wayne Dover; two nephews, and a
stepdaughter.

The family will receive friends thirty minutes before the service at Rose
Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday in the Rose Hill
Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Dr. Bulo Price officiating.

In lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to Hospice Cleveland County, 951
Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home & Cremation
Center, Fallston.
