KINGS MOUNTAIN- Joyce Falls Hilliard, 72, passed away, Friday January 22, 2016 at Caromont Medical Center. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Ira J. and Bertha Culberson Falls. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Kings Mountain. She was a loving wife, mom and most of all a number one Grammy to her only grandchild, Anna.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Doytt, and Roy Falls; one sister, Ruth Navy.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Keith Hilliard of the home; one daughter, Jane Byers and husband Jody of Kings Mountain; two sisters, Shirley Wilson of Gastonia, Elouise Acuff of Lancaster, SC; two brothers, James Falls and wife Betty, Bill Falls and wife Alohma all of Kings Mountain; and one special granddaughter, Anna Byers.

SERVICES: A funeral service will be held, 2 pm Monday at First Baptist Church of Kings Mountain.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in The Stained Glass Room at the church.

CLERGY: Dr. John "Chip" Sloan will officiate

INTERNMENT: burial will immediately follow at Mountain Rest Cemetery
