Joyce "Sue" Faye Bivens Bradshaw

Joyce "Sue" Faye Bivens Bradshaw, 78, of 8716 Ramsey Road, Connelly Springs passed away Saturday January 9, 2016 at Frye Regional Medical Center.

Born May 9, 1937 in Burke County, she was a daughter of the late Dorsey and Lula Bivens. Joyce was owner of Tri County Grill for 50 plus years and attended Zion Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers, Ralph Bivens, John Bivens, Andrew Powell and Bill Powell and sister, Beatrice Watts.

Survivors include her her husband, Leonard Bradshaw of Connelly Springs; son, Randy Bradshaw and wife, Robin; grandson, Jonas of Connelly Springs; daughter, Robin Deviney and husband, Max of Casar, granddaughter, Joni Moore and husband, Steve and great-grandchildren, Jordan, Emily, Blake and Ally of Connelly Springs; grandson, Jody Seagle and wife, Stacy and great-granddaughter, Ava of Connelly Springs; three sisters, Lois Hendrick of Connelly Springs, Kay Lackey and Betty Whisnant both of Morganton; Roger Bivens of Morganton and special niece, Marie "Spanky" Geissele of Hickory.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Monday, Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home & Cremation Center

Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM, Monday, at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home & Cremation Center Chapel with Rev. Burl Sain officiating.

Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum, Fallston
