Blacksburg -- Juanita Turner Ramsey, 87, of 442 North Rutherford Street, passed away Saturday, December 9th, 2017, at Peachtree Centre.

Born in Blacksburg, she was the wife of William Eugene Ramsey and the daughter of the late Elijah Hamilton Turner and Maggie May Skates Turner. Mrs. Ramsey previously worked in textiles and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Ramsey is survived by three sons, Steve Ramsey, and wife, Matril, of York, Jerry Ramsey and wife, Carol, of Hickory Grove, and Ted Ramsey of Blacksburg; five grandchildren, Stephen, Eddie, Kevin, and Craig Ramsey, and Chrystal Sewell; and seven great-grandchildren, Chloe Harwick, Amber Ramsey, Caroline Ramsey, James Ramsey, Brooklyn Ramsey, Jacey Sewell, and Kathryn Ramsey.

Mrs. Ramsey was preceded in death by her parents and ten brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 12th, 2017, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Mickey Mullinax officiating. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery.
