Ms. Judith Elaine "Judy" Allen, 75, of Ellenboro, went home to be with the Lord on July 11, 2018. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late James Vernon Allen, Sr. (Dutch) and Ruby Harrill Allen. She was a retired Registered Nurse at Cleveland Regional Medical Center and a member of Bethel Baptist Church where she loved to attend and sing in the choir. In her spare time, she enjoyed golfing and reading.

She is survived by her brothers, Rev. Alvin Allen and wife Judy of Spindale, George Allen and wife Camellia of Forest City, James Allen, Jr. and wife Sherry of Ellenboro; sisters, Nancy Frady of Granite Falls, Brenda McEntire and husband Jeff of Rutherfordton, Sara Sheppard and husband Wayne of Bostic, Hannah Jolley and husband Randy of Bostic and Kathy Houser and husband Phillip of Boiling Springs; brother in-law, Charlie Dills of Dillsboro; 3 grandchildren, Amber, Kristen and Henry; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Steve Bradley and infant son, Scott; brother, Sidney Allen; sister, Deanna Dills; and brother in-law, H.L. Frady.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Bethel Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Alvin Allen and Rev. Michael Sepaugh officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
