Judith Leola Howard Tucker, age 65, died Friday, September 30, 2016 at Robin Johnson House Gaston Hospice. Born in Cleveland County on May 28, 1951 she was the daughter of Roy Lee and Mary Love Blanton Howard. Judith was a member of Putnam Baptist Church, loved gardening, and was a devoted mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, Judith is preceded in death by a sister Kathryn Howard and husband Jimmy; special friend Larry Boyles; and granddaughter, Sabrina Tucker.

Judith is survived by her children; son Robert Edward Tucker and his wife Jennifer of Georgia; daughter Rebecca Schadewald and her husband BJ of Shelby; a brother, James Lee Howard and special friend Adam Hamrick of Shelby; one sister, Bonnie Howard of Shelby; and four grandchildren; Jonathan Lee Henderson, Samantha Ann Henderson and Brett Ciaschini, William Alexander Tucker and Rebecca Shea Tucker; and four great grandchildren; Bryson, Brody, Katy Ciaschini and Kelby Henderson.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Putnam Baptist Church with Rev. Bryan Glisson and Rev. Gary Marburger officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
