Fallston - Julia Beam Dellinger, 101, of 1121 E. Stagecoach Trail, passed
away on Sunday January 31, 2016 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Home.

Born June 25, 1914 in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late Jacob
Lee Beam and Dora Childers Beam. She was retired from Cleveland Memorial
Hospital. Mrs. Dellinger was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church
and the United Methodist Women. She was a member of Fallston Friendship
Circle, member of the retiree club from the hospital and the Senior Center
where she was very active in the senior games.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Esper
Vern Dellinger; daughter, Carolyn D. Dellinger; five brothers, Clarence,
John, Ray, Floyd and Webb Beam and five sisters, Annie Lee Hallman, Virginia
Dellinger, Sarah Nell Leonhardt, Kimmie Dellinger and Ethel Hull.

Survivors include a son, David Dellinger, Sr. and wife, Lillie of Fallston;
three daughters, Mary Ellen Conley and husband, Kenneth of Matthews; Doris
Wilson and husband, Jim of Lawndale and Julia Ann Hendrick of Hickory; 11
grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00PM until 8:00PM Monday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home & Cremation Center.

Funeral service will be 2:00PM Tuesday at Bethlehem United Methodist Church
with Pastor Randi Godfrey and Rev. Bill Taylor officiating. The body will be
placed in the church thirty minutes prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bethlehem United Methodist

the Neal Senior Center, 100 T.R. Harris Drive, Shelby, NC 28150 or to the
