Julia (Julee) McArthur Wolfe
Cherryville – Julia (Julee) McArthur Wolfe, 69 of 109 Whitesides St., passed away July 29, 2012 at Kings Mountain Hospice House.

Born January 6, 1943 in Columbia, SC she was a daughter of Robert B. McArthur of Asheville and the late Catherine Sappenfield Baker.  She was retired from Cherryville Federal Savings and Loan Association as vice president.  Mrs. Wolfe was a member of Episcopal Church of Our Savior in Lincolnton and attended St. James Episcopal Church in Black Mountain.  She was also a member of Cherryville Rotary Club, past president of N.C. Internal Auditors Division and past president of Credit Professionals International.

Mrs. Wolfe was preceded in death by her husband, Geoffrey Lawrence Wolfe.

In addition to her father she is survived by two daughters, Robin Hyatt and husband David of Swannanoa and Jennifer Wolfe Reichert and husband Jeffrey of Owings, Maryland; two beloved grandsons, Richard and Tony Reichert, of Owings, Maryland and four sisters, Joanne M. Adams of Kings Mountain, Carol M. McMahan of Dallas, Lisa M. Hovis of Gastonia and Laura M. Lowery of Kings Mountain; a sister-in-law, Jayne Wolfe Roddenberry of Crawfordville, Florida.  Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Julee’s Life will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Roma Italian Restaurant in Cherryville from 2:00 until 5:00pm “to swap Julee stories”.
