Julie Mozelle Mullinax
Gaffney-- Julie Mozelle Mullinax, 82,of 326 Pondfield Rd., Gaffney , passed away January 12th, 2013, at her residence.
 
Born in Gaffney, Mrs. Mullinax was the wife of the late Floyd Mullinax and the daughter of the late William Carlyle and Mary Effie Peterson Mullinax.  She worked as a textile employee and was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church.
 
Mrs. Mullinax is survived by daughters Anna Short and husband Billy Short of the home and Linda Coyle and husband Allen Coyle of Gaffney; brothers Winfred and Lenoah Mullinax of Gaffney; sister Altie Thompson of Gaffney, and nine grandchildren Tammie Coleman, Johnny Mullinax, Floyd Coyle, Julie Ann Anderson, Jimmy Short, Angie Short and Julie May Short of Gaffney, Robbie Mullinax of Blacksburg, and Brigett Mullinax of Kings Mountain; 16 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.  She is also preceded in death by sons William Floyd Mullinax and Wilbert Lefoy Mullinax, brothers Marvin Mullinax and Oscar Mullinax, and sisters Carrie Humphries, Madgie Sue Phillips, and Emma Lou Upchurch.
 
The family will receive friends at granny's house on 326 Pondfield Road, Gaffney.  Granny will be at home with her loved ones until 3:00 on Monday, January 14.  The funeral will be at the True Gospel Independent Baptist Church on Monday, January 14, 2013, at 3:00 PM with Rev William Blanton, Rev. Thomas Moore, and Rev. Kenny Wood officiating.  Interment will follow at Sardis United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Floyd Coyle, Dustin Coyle, Tyler Anderson, Robbie Mullinax, Ronnie Anderson, Darrell Pennington, Cale Brown, and Rick Coleman.
 
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Ezman and staff, Spartanburg Regional Hospital, and Spartanburg Regional Hospice.
