Gaffney -- Justin Elliot Applegate, 29, of 203 Holmes Street, passed away Friday, May 25th, 2018, at Deceased Residence.

Born in Lubbuck, TX, he was the son of L. Michele Anthony and the late Micky Applegate. He was a member of the River Tennessee Chickamauga Tribe and his tribal name was "Bear Making Dust."

In addition to his mother, Mr. Applegate is survived by his step-father, Michael Ray Anthony; two sisters, Deidra Applegate McDonald and husband, Jeff, and Hannah Henline; and lots of supportive extended family.

A memorial service for Mr. Applegate will be held Saturday, June 2nd, 2018 at 2:30 pm at Mission of Grace, 616 North Limestone Street, Gaffney, SC 29340. A visitation will follow the service.
