Kalan Deane Smart Seagle, 56, passed away on Sunday, November 07, 2021 at UNC Health Blue Ridge, Morganton.
She was born to Chiss Smart and the late Wanda Smart. She is also predeceased by one brother, Allen Smart.
Kalan leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband, Larry Seagle; son, Josh Mathis and wife Corey Mathis; daughter, Paris Logan and husband Michael Logan; grandchildren, Madison Mathis, Troy Mathis, Grace Mathis, Alaia McDowell, Carter Logan, Rylan Logan and Nolan Logan; brothers, Danny Smart and wife Teresa Smart and Matthew Smart and wife Marie Smart; sister, Amanda Smart Fox and husband Chris Fox.
She worked in Transportation as a truck driver. She was a wonderful wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister and daughter. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Faith Baptist Church, 2738 South Post Road, Shelby, NC 28152 with Rev. Johnny Owens and Dr. Barry Goodman officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Internment will be immediately following the service in the church cemetery.
