ELLENBORO- Katherine Lemons Staley, 68, died Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills-Forest City. A native of Cleveland Co., she was born to the late William and Alice Boone Lemons. She was a loving sister and mother. She loved her small farm and all of her animals including pigs, chickens, and dogs and especially feeding the wild birds out of her kitchen window.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Buck Lemons.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Blanton of Polkville and David Blanton of Ellenboro; daughter Sheila Wright and husband Ray of Polkville; sister Patricia Willis and husband John of Ellenboro; brother Lester "Billy" Lemons and wife Rose of Ellenboro; grandchildren Darrin and Christopher Ivey and Jacob Blanton; great grandchildren Crystal and Lucas Ivey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
