Shelby - Mrs. Katherine Marion Izzi McArthur, 87 of Shelby passed away February 14, 2015 at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain.

Born March 10, 1927 in York County, SC to the late Antonio Izzi and Carmella Maria Dimeo Izzi. She was retired from FASCO and was a member Sharon United Methodist Church. Mrs. McArthur was a former Senior Center volunteer.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Porter McArthur, Jr.; three brothers, Joe Izzi, Jerry Izzi and L.B. Izzi and two sisters, Angeline Hall and Christine Whisnant.

Survivors include her son, Jim McArthur of Ashboro; two daughters, Jane Collins and husband, Denny of Surfside Beach, SC and Harriette Greene and husband Eric of Shelby; two brothers, Tony Izzi, Jr. of Shelby and Mike Izzi of Virginia; a sister, Pauline Glover of Shelby; seven grandchildren, Miriam Hale (Shannon) of Shelby, Heather Watson (Jeffrey) of Clayton, Jonathan Green (Jennifer) of Glenpool, Oklahoma, Lindsey Duncan (Josh) of Kings Mountain, Kelly Collins (fiance, Jared) of Fort Mill, SC, Kassie Robinson (Jake) of Greensboro and Jack McArthur of Greensboro and four
great-grandchildren, Alex Hale of Shelby, Noah Hale of Shelby, Jaxson Greene of Glenpool, Oklahoma and Harley Watson of Clayton.

Visitation: 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Monday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Fallston

Memorial Service: 3:00 PM, Monday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home & Cremation Center Chapel
