Kathleen Green Stiles, age 85 of Ratchford Dr. passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at her residence. She was born on November 3, 1930 in Jackson County to the late Avery and Nellie Messer Green. She was a faithful member at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Dallas. Kathleen loved caring for children, especially her grandkids. She also took great pleasure in baking, cooking and sewing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Stiles; sons, James Ronald Stiles and Raymond Michael Stiles; and sisters, Hazel Gunter and Katy Couch.
Survivors include her children, Danny Stiles and husband and wife, Becky and Sharon Stiles Jones and husband, Timothy; daughter-in-law, Jean Stiles; grandchildren, Jamie Stiles (Jennifer), Dustin Stiles, Amber Stiles, Tiahna Ellis (DeWayne), Tyler Jones, Shannon Branham (Shawn), and Aaron Stiles (Angie); great grandchildren, James Stiles, Samantha Stiles, Spencer Stiles, Riley Moxley, Briana Ellis, Marah Branham, Colton Bowers, Tara Hicks (JC), Blake Stiles, and Faith Brothers; sisters, Geneva Nations, Barbara Adams, and Joyce Beam; and brothers, Abe and Clyde Green.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at 3:00 PM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Jonathan A. Schnibben officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:30 to 2:45 PM prior to the service at the church.
