Kathy Ellen Seitz Patterson, 70, of Stoney Ridge Dr., died July 11, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Sandusky, Ohio on April 14, 1945 to the late Frank L. and Evelyn Ruth Sutter Seitz. Kathy was a member of Second Baptist Church and was a retired long line truck driver, along with her husband, from D & B Transport. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and the beach.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Eddie Seitz; and sister, Cheryl Geddys.
Survivors include her husband, Odell Patterson; sons, William Patterson, and wife, Phyllis of Kings Mountain, and Robert Risica and fiancé, Olivia Armstrong of Kings Mountain; daughters, Donna Reynolds of Lincolnton, Rita Owens of Cherryville, Nancy Pack and husband, Richard of Grover, and Sybil Walker of Cherryville; seventeen grandchildren; and thirty-four great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 8:00 PM at Second Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Lail officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 to 7:45 PM prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
