Kathy Marie Lail Hanel of Shelby, daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and partner, reached out and accepted the loving arms of Jesus following a multi-year illness on April 14, 2016.
The foundation of her family, she will be missed for her dedication and valuable guidance.
Survivors include son James Reynolds and partner, Carla, along with her son, and his son, Cody, of Shelby; son Bradley Reynolds and wife, Dominique, and their son Phaethon, of Greece; brothers, Glenn of Honolulu and Alan of Cleveland County; and her wonderful close friend and caretaker, Wanda.
Her mother, Wanda Lee Lail Yost, passed away Feb. 1, 2016, and welcomed Kathy into Heaven, free from pain and tears.
A private memorial service will be held at the home and also in Hawaii, as her ashes, along with those of her mother, are placed in the sea off the coast of Waikiki, each with one red and one yellow rose. They will rest and travel the world together.
