Katie Bell

Katie Bell, age 26, resident of 119 Trotter Lane, Kings Mountain, NC went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 15, 2014.   She was born in Cleveland Co. NC. 

She was preceded in death by Maternal grandparents, Robert and Shirley Allen; and paternal grandmother, Della Bell.   Katie was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Kings Mtn. NC.  She was a 2006 graduate of Kings Mountain High School, where she was captain of the cheerleading team and attended Western-Carolina Univeristy, graduating from Cleveland Community College with a degree in Radiography.    She enjoyed dancing and gymnastics, loved people especially her family.  She will be greatly missed.

Father: Craig Bell and stepmother, Wanda Bell, Kings Mtn. NC

Paternal Grandfather: “Paw Paw Giles” Bell, Kings Mtn. NC

Brother: Kyle Bell, Kings Mtn. NC

Step-brothers: Michael Gene Kinmon, Shelby, NC; Michael Lee Cribbs, Thomasville, NC; and Patrick Kinmon, Shelby, NC.

Aunt: Debbie Braswell and her children; Jennifer Zeidman and Doug Wallace, Shelby, NC

Uncle and Aunt: Brent and Teresa Bell and their children; Emily and Alec, Kings Mtn. NC

Special Uncle: Mike Rogers and his family.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Oak Grove Baptist Church, Monday, January 20, 2014  11:00 A.M.  Rev. Ronnell Owensby and Rev. Ron Caulder, officiating.                                                    

VISITATION: 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. Sunday evening, January 19, 2014 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, NC and other times at her home, 119 Trotter Lane, Kings Mountain, NC or home of the grandfather, 728 Oak Grove Road, Kings Mountain, NC.

INTERMENT: Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
