Blacksburg -- Katy Sue Ledford Ramsey, 65, of 208 Short Street, passed away Wednesday, April 13th, 2016, at her residence.

Born in Gastonia, she was the widow of Harold Dean Ramsey and the daughter of the late Homer and Betty Hodge Ledford. Mrs. Ramsey retired from textiles and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving Mrs. Ramsey are one son, Chris Ramsey, of Blacksburg; a daughter, Teresa Ledford Mullinax, of Blacksburg; three brothers, Homer Lee Ledford Jr. of Gaffney, Larry Gene Ledford of Gaffney, and Tony Dean Ledford of Blacksburg; two grandchildren, Angel Mullinax Williams and husband, Obie, and Landen Mullinax, both of Blacksburg.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Ramsey was preceded in death by one son, Harold Ramsey Jr. and one daughter, Amy Ramsey.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 15th, 2016, from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Mrs. Ramsey's Residence, 208 Short Street Blacksburg, SC. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 16th, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Carroll Roberson officiating.
