Keith Wayne Garner, 62, of Lincolnton, died Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Carolinas Health Care Systems Lincolnton. He was born on November 12, 1952 in Lincolnton to William Franklin Garner and Peggy Thornburg Garner. Keith enjoyed playing the piano and had a love for bowling and bingo.
He was proceeded in death by his mother, Peggy Thornburg Garner.
Survivors include his father, William Garner; sister, Gay Stone and husband, Daniel of Lincolnton; niece, Jennifer Willis and husband, Lance; and great niece, Jada Willis.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 6, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Grace Baptist Church in Lincolnton. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton. Rev. Bobby Jones and Rev. Dr. Vince Hefner will be officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM prior to the service at Carpenter's Funeral and Cremation Services and at other times at the home.
