Cherryville - Mr. Kenneth E. Lindsay, 76, of 400 W. Academy Street, passed
away on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Carolinas Healthcare Systems -
Cleveland in Shelby.

Kenneth was born on July 16, 1941 in Lincoln County, NC a son of the late
B.L. Lindsay and Mozelle Bridges Lindsay. He was retired from textiles and
as a truck driver. Kenneth was a former baseball coach and founding member
of the Chosen Few Gospel singing group. He was a member of Charity Baptist
Church in Fallston and a board member for Charity Christian School.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Kyeth Lindsay and Melody
of Cherryville; three grandsons, Jonathan Lindsay and wife, Destiny of Kings
Mountain; Joshua Lindsay and Jacob Lindsay both of Cherryville; two great
grandchildren, Cooper and Aiden Lindsay of Kings Mountain and a brother,
Alan Lindsay of Casar.

Visitation will be on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 1:45 to 2:45PM at
Charity Baptist Church in Lawndale.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at
Charity Baptist Church with the Revs. Ronny Brodgon, David Jones and Eric
Blankenship officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.
