Kenneth "Kenny" Eugene White, age 64 died Tuesday January 5, 2016 at his home. Born in Lincoln County on January 12, 1951 he was the son of the late Everett William and Bertha Leona Hunt White. Kenny worked at Cleveland Mills for many years as an inspector. He enjoyed drawing, watching Western and Detective movies, and being with family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Charles White and Ralph White; and a sister, Pearl Hoyle.

Kenny is survived by his wife of 27 years, Janice Justice White; a son, Robert Campbell and wife Jean of Marion SC; a grandson, Zack Campbell; sister- in-law and brother-in-law, Ginger and Steve Poteat of Shelby; nieces and nephews David Hoyle and wife Kathy , Curtis Justice, Patty Hopper and husband Kenny, Tim and Lisa Poteat, Tabitha Poteat, and Jacob Poteat; and his beloved canine companion, "Daisy May".

Memorial service will be held on Thursday January 7, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Eastside Baptist Church with Rev. Dale Byrd officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm an hour before the service in the sanctuary.
