| Kenneth Lee Heafner, 71 of Shelby, NC passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2010. Services were held at Faith Baptist Church. Burial was held in Sunset Cemetery.
Mr. Heafner was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Clayton Heafner and Selma Powell Heafner; brothers, Pete, Tom, Clayton “Red” and Don; and sisters, Kate and Joanne.
He is survived by his wife Virginia “Jeni” Heafner of the home; his son, Duane Kenneth Heafner and wife Angie of Shelby, NC; his brothers, Charles Heafner and wife Joyce of Shelby; and James Heafner of Lawndale, NC; 2 grandchildren, Jessee Heafner and Clay Heafner.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Dr., Shelby, NC.
