Cherryville - Mr. Kenneth Ray Brittain, 73, of 2089 Eaker Dr., passed away
on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

Kenneth was born in Gaston County, NC on December 25, 1941 a son of the late
Carmie F. Brittain, Sr. and Maude Costner Brittain. He was retired as an
upholsterer from Bradington Young in Cherryville and was a member of
Plainsview Baptist Church in Lawndale.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Margaret Faye Wells Brittain of the
home; a son, Darren Wells Brittain and wife Crystal; two daughters, Denise
Brittain Walker and husband Scott and Pamela Roxann Lucas all of
Cherryville; two grandchildren, Stephanie Lucas and Dustin Lucas; four
brothers, Earl Brittain, Allen Brittain and Carmie "C.F." Brittain, Jr. all
of Cherryville and John Wayne Brittain of Lansing, NC; one sister Ruth
Rudisill of Cherryville.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 20, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service and at other times the
family will be at the home.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 3:00PM at
Plainsview Baptist Church with Dr. Ernest Speagle officiating. The body
will be place in the church thirty minutes prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
