Kenneth Ross Roberts, age 78, resident of 917 S. Battleground Avenue, passed away on January 21, 2017 at Piney Woods Nuring Center,Thomasville, NC. Born in Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Eugene Ross Roberts.. He was also preceded in death by his brother Glenn Roberts. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving as a paratrooper. He was a member of Kings Mountain Baptist Church and attended Macedonia Baptist Church in Kings Mountain. He was former owner of the Depot Stop and Go convenience store.
