Kenneth Von "Flukie" Patterson, 82, 132 Patterson Trail, Blacksburg, SC, went home to be with the Lord December 28, 2016, at the home of his son. He was the son of the late Eural H. and Gladys Owens Patterson. He was a member of Cherokee Falls Baptist Church. Kenneth was retired from Overnite.
He is survived by one son - Randy Patterson of Gaffney, SC; one daughter - Janet Leagon of Blacksburg, SC; one step-daughter - Wanda Malone; two brothers - Jerry Patterson and Ronnie Patterson both of Blacksburg, SC; two sisters - Nancy Rogers of Blacksburg, SC, and Jenny Armstrong of Spartanburg, SC; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers - Harold Patterson, Ralph Patterson and Steve Patterson.
The family will receive friends Saturday, December 31, 2016, from 12-1:00 PM, at Cherokee Falls Baptist Church. A Celebration Of Life Service will follow at 1:00 PM at the church with Revs. Tim Knotts and Gregg Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens. At other times, the family will be at their respective homes.

Pallbearers serving are Terry Martin, George Martin, George Putnam, Barry Lanier, Phillip Ellis, and Mark Patterson.
