Mr. Kevin Jay Hashbarger, 62 of Spindale, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the Brian Center in Gastonia.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Helen Kidd Hashbarger of the home, two children, Faith Ruppe and husband Jeff of Shelby, NC, and Tom Hofmann and wife Daya of Ft. Bragg, NC, eight grandchildren, one brother, five sisters, a step-mother, Mary Hashbarger of Indianapolis, IN, and two dear friends, Ralph and Venita Hill of Spindale, NC.

Born September 15, 1953 in Frankfort, IN, Mr. Hashbarger was the son of the late James Hashbarger and Roberta Slaven Hashbarger and was preceded in death by one brother.

Mr. Hashbarger enjoyed playing golf and shooting pool. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He will be missed by those that knew him.

Memorial services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Cleveland Funeral Services and Crematory.
