Grover - Kimberly Sue Gillis Peterson, 47, of 246 Rippy Road, passed away Monday, July 8, 2019, at the Wendover Hospice House.

Kimberly was the wife of Ernest Wayne Peterson and the daughter of the late Wesley and Betty Lou Severe Gillis. She previously worked at Wal-Mart and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed crafts, drawing, painting, and fishing.

In addition to her husband, Kimberly is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Peterson, of Shelby; two brothers, Jimmy and Wesley Gillis, Jr., both of West Virginia; and one sister, Kathy Ann Powell, of Virginia.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Gillis will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019, at 2:00 PM in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Lee Coyle officiating.

The family will be at their respective homes.
