Gaffney -- Landon Eugene "Buddy" Shell, 79, of 240 Monroe Street, passed away Sunday, November 6th, 2016, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born in Gaffney, he was the son of the late Landon Clyde Shell and Willie Edna Shehan Shell. Mr. Shell retired from textiles and was a member of Asbury Baptist Church.

Surviving Mr. Shell are three sisters, Mary R. McCutchin, Hazel Childers, and Minnie Mullinax, all of Gaffney.,

In addition to his parents, Mr. Shell was preceded in death by an infant daughter.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 12th, 2016 at 1:00 pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Joe Crawford officiating.

The family will be at their respective homes.
