Larry Dills, age 65, of Glenn Street, Ellenboro, NC, died Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Hospice House of Rutherford County.

     Larry was born September 28, 1947 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Foye Lee Dills and Margie Ola Ford Dills. He worked in textiles for several years and was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. Larry enjoyed collecting angels and eagles and spending time with his family.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carrie Lee Ford.

     Survivors include one daughter, Donna Willis; one son, Larry Ray Dills, Jr. both of Ellenboro; one sister, Brenda Bridge and husband, Roger of Cliffside; two brothers, Ronald Dills and wife, Dorothy of Kings Mountain and Terry Dills and wife, Brenda of Rutherfordton. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Bobby Willis, Jessica Willis, Matt Willis, Melissa Toney and six grandchildren, James Toney, Gavin Hunt, Kyle Toney, Alivia Hunt, Ian Willis and Aiden Willis.

     A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Billy Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
