Larry Ray Wright, age 61, resident of Kings Mountain, NC went to be with his Heavenly Father after a lengthy battle with cancer on November 24, 2014 at his home.  He was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late James Ray “Jim” Wright.  He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Wright.  He was founder and previous owner of ESS Automation, Bessemer City, NC.  Larry was a member of Yorkwood Church of God, Gastonia, NC and served in the music ministry in various churches.    He loved music, was very talented and well known for playing various instruments including, keyboards, trombone, and guitar.  He also was very gifted in writing music. Larry enjoyed playing in bands for many years and was a partner in the Ocean Blvd. Band, Shelby, NC.   He enjoyed fishing, especially with his brother, Danny and traveling with his wife and family.  He was a Godly and devoted loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother who loved life.

4 Grandchildren: Jonathan Seiler, Jake Lehr, Laura Powell, and Elin Camp. 

FUNERAL SERVICE: Yorkwood Church of God, Gastonia, NC  Saturday, November 29, 2014   2:00 P.M.     Rev. Dale Dyar and Rev. James E. Allen, officiating.

VISITATION: 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Friday evening, November 28, 2014 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
