Larry Wayne Callahan, 53, of Harrill Road, Mooresboro, died on Monday, September 09, 2013. A native of Cleveland County, he was born on November 14, 1959, a son of the late John Wayne Callahan and Catherine Eaker Callahan of Mooresboro. He retired from the Textile Industry and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Callahan was also a member of Trinity Baptist Church and loved to spend time with his family and grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Jeffery Robert Callahan of Mooresboro and Chris McDaniel and wife Amy of Ellenboro; one daughter, Pamela Marie Callahan of Mooresboro; two brothers, Robert Callahan and wife Pamela of Boiling Springs and Rodney Callahan and wife April of Lawndale; one sister, Debra Callahan and husband Mitch of Mooresboro; his grandchildren, Haiden Callahan, Caleb McDaniel, Landon Oehler, Mackenzie Callahan, Natalie McDaniel, Brilea Pruett, and Madison McDaniel.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Fraizer and Rev. Bobby Steen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the sanctuary.
