KINGS MOUNTAIN -- Latha Robert Morgan Jr., 70, of Shelby, NC, passed away June 17, 2015, at Hospice House.
Son of the late Latha Robert and Mattie Lee Sanders Morgan Sr., he was a Vietnam veteran and employed by Carolina Freight for 20 years.
Survivors include two sons, Jesse Morgan and Brian Morgan of Shelby; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. An 11 a.m. memorial service will be held Monday, June 29, 2015 in the Lutz-Austell Funeral Hone Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Mullinax officiating. The family will be at the home of Latha Robert Morgan Jr. 1309 Hunt Street, Shelby, NC.Lutz-Austell Funeral Home and Cremation Services is serving the family.
