Blacksburg ---- Laurie Ann Howard, 57, of 120 Hickory Hollow Road, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born in Canyonville, Oregon, on October 13, 1965, to Donald Washburn, and the late Darlene Joy Nichols Washburn. Laurie formerly worked as a Registered Nurse. Laurie enjoyed gardening, fishing, dogs, and loved her dear husband.

Surviving Mrs. Howard are her husband, Darroll Howard, Sr., her father, Donald Washburn, of Oregon, her daughters; Christina (Nick) Halse of Minnesota, and Melissa Newstrand, of Laurens, SC, Grandchildren; McKenzie, Zane, and Teagan Halse, all of Minnesota., brothers; Lonnie (Roshanda) Washburn of California, and Donald Washburn Jr., of Oregon, and sister; Julie (David) Johnson of Minnesota.

Mrs. Howard, was preceded in death by her mother, Darlene Joy Nichols Washburn.

No services are scheduled at this time.
