Lester Calvin Wylie, 55, of 705 West Pine Street, passed away Friday, October 3rd, 2014, at his residence.
Born in Kings Mountain, he was the son of Shirley Tucker Henson and the late Lester Wylie. Mr. Wylie was a Millwright and was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Wylie is survived by five sons, Michael Wylie of Gaffney, Gary Lee Horn II, Preston Wylie, Jordan Wylie, and Austin Wylie, all of Blacksburg; one brother, Roger Wylie of Blacksburg; one sister, Linda Lavender of Gaffney; and two grandchildren, Mason Lee Horn and Paisley Gracie Mae Wylie of Blacksburg.,
He was preceded in death by his son, Lester Calvin Wylie II (Little Calvin), his sister, Katherine Horn (Peanut), and his step-father, Thurman Henson (Bobby).
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 from 2:00 - 3:00 at Gordon Mortuary. Memorial services will immediately follow at Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Lucky Earls, and Rev. Danny Marshburn officiating.
The family will be at the residence.
