Lester Lee Isler

Blacksburg -- Lester Lee Isler, 77, of 212 East Jones Street, passed away Thursday, August 27th, 2015, at Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care.

Born in Blacksburg, he was the widow of Dorothy Cagle Isler and Arlene Magle Isler and the son of the late Charlie and Unice Mill Isler. Mr. Isler retired as a welder and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Surviving Mr. Isler is a daughter, Lisa Dawn Morris, of the home; one brother, Glen Isler, of Georgia; two sisters, Anius Porter of Grover and May Marlow of Charlotte; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Steven Owen, of the home.,

In addition to his parents and wives, Mr. Isler was preceded in death by a son, David Kent Isler; a daughter, Christy Rene Hallo; a sister, Boots Houser; and a brother, Jim Isler.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 29th, 2015, from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Antioch Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. Harold Beam and Rev. Vernon Craig. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Paul Hallo, Steven Hallo, Roger Porter, Keith Porter, Matthew Isler, and Daniel Love will serve as pallbearers.

The family will be at the residence.
