The National Association of Letter Carriers held the "Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive" on May 10, 2015 and collected 8,039 pounds of food to go to feeding the hungry of Cleveland County.
Agencies that received the food for distribution to the hungry are: Shelby Presbyterian Church Food Ministry, John Knox Presbyterian Church, Red Cross, Cross Roads Rescue Mission and Washington Missionary Baptist Church Outreach Ministry.
