Lillie Mae Allison Jackson
MOORESBORO - Lillie Mae Allison Jackson, 90, of Gaffney Road, Mooresboro, died on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Hospice of Cleveland County at Wendover. A native of Cleveland County, she was born on April 15, 1924, a daughter of the late Dexter Frazier Allison and Evie Potter Allison. She was a homemaker and member of Camps Creek Baptist Church where she was a GA’s (Girls in Action) and Acteens Leader and was member of the Francis Talley Circle. Lillie Mae was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family.
 
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Forest Glenn Jackson, Sr.. She is survived by her son, Forest Glenn Jackson, Jr., and fiancee Melissa Hunsinger of Mooresboro; one daughter, Glenda Brackett and husband Curtis of Mooresboro; two grandchildren, Justin Brackett and Emily Jackson.
 
Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Camps Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Buddy Morehead, Rev. Steve Durham, Rev. Dale Welch and Justin Brackett officiating. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 2:00pm-3:00pm on Tuesday in the church sanctuary and at other times at the home.
