Mrs. Lillie Mae Grier Beaty, 86, of Shelby, NC, formerly of Lattimore, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2010. Services were held at Lattimore Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Beaty was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Beaty; her parents, Noah Kimsey Grier and Dora Ann Mooney Grier; 3 sisters, Maude Ivie, Matilda Kimbrell and Nancy Alexander; 5 brothers, Robert, Willie, George, Arnie and Ralph Grier; and 1 grandson.
She is survived by 1 son, Roy Grier and wife Selena of Lattimore; 2 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
