The Lincolnton Lions Club and Lizzie Lu’s Gift Shop are sponsoring a book signing and fundraiser on Saturday, December 21st from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Lizzie Lu’s Gift Shop, 233 East Main Street in Downtown Lincolnton.
J. Paige Straley, Hickory children’s author will be autographing and selling his latest book entitled Jack’s Christmas for $7 with the book sale proceeds assisting the Lincolnton Lions Club provide services to Lincoln County’s blind/visually impaired.
For a limited time, the Lincolnton Lions Club will be offering “Jack’s Christmas”, a classic illustrated Christmas poem. Beautifully produced, “Jack” is a story of a bunny’s journey through cold winter landscape, back home to a family for Christmas. Children of all ages will love this exciting story. “Jack’s Christmas is home grown in North Carolina. The author is from Hickory, the illustrator from Chapel Hill and it was printed in Winston-Salem.
If you are unable to attend the book signing, then you may order a copy via US mail by sending your name, mailing address, and area code and telephone number along with your check payable to the Lions Club for $10.53 (which includes shipping and handling) to Lincolnton Lions Club, 501 South Grove Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092. Please include Jack’s Christmas book in memorandum section of your check.
