Cherryville - Mrs. Linda Adams Dowdle, 71, passed away on Sunday, February
25, 2018 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

Linda was born in Gaston County, NC on October 11, 1946 a daughter of the
Lee Landy Adams and Ethel Pearl Hallman Adams. She was retired from Sara
Lee in Forest City and Barday in Belmont. Linda was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers,
Mickey, Scott and William Adams and a sister Judy Shultz.

Survivors include a brother, Ronnie Adams of Cherryville; three sisters,
Frankie Mace of Maiden; Nancy Hillard of Salisbury and Debbie Houk of
Lincolnton; also surviving are a number of neices and nephews.

The family will have a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, March 3,
2018 from 2:00 to 5:00PM at Second Baptist Church in Cherryville.

Burial will be private.
